Scent Description

Bright watery cactus and fresh sea salt combine to create a clean, fresh aroma with background hints of soothing musk and light floral under notes. 

 

Top notes: Cactus, Woods

Middle notes: Musk, Floral

Base notes: Sea Salt

Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at MAX (4.08%) FO load, 2/11/22 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil. 

Acceleration: None

Ricing: None

Discoloration: Cream

Trace: Normal

 

Design Notes: Stays fluid for a long time, allowing for intricate and complex designs. 

 

Scent Retention: Strong

I love this scent as do many of my friends and family. It is wonderful in my cp soaps and smells absolutely delicious in candles. It has wonderful scent throw in my candles and the smell lingers on my body after I use the soap. I can smell it in my master bedroom when this soap bar is in my shower. I stocked up on it when I heard it was being discontinued so I will have it for a while. Perhaps by then I will find something just as yummy. I have other scents that I like just as much in my soaps but nothing beats the fresh smell of these candles. So long cactus & sea salt, you will be missed.

A fabulous scent!

It truly breaks my heart that this one is discontinued, but I purchased a lot of bottles so I will have for awhile. This is has such a clean scent and works fabulously in CP. I also used it in my MP shampoo bars.
