Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at MAX (4.58%) FO load, 10/16/22 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil. 

Acceleration: Slight

Ricing: None

Discoloration: Cream

Trace: Normal

Design Notes: Trace accelerated slightly. Recommended to add colorants prior to fragrance. Sets quickly in mold. Great for layered designs.

Scent Retention: Strong
