Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at 5% FO load, 3/5/22 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil. 

Acceleration: None

Ricing: None

Discoloration: Tan

Trace: Normal

 

Design Notes: Stays fluid for a long time, allowing for intricate, complex designs. 

 

Scent Retention: Very Strong

Awesome Woodsy Smell!

This is awesome smell and worked beautifully in M&P and CP soaps. CP does discolor to Tan as indicated and scent is very potent in either product. THis is now a go to for my product line and recommend this !
