Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at 5% FO load, 12/28/21 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Acceleration: Slight

Ricing: None

Discoloration: Light Purple

Trace: Normal

Design Notes: This fragrance is likely to accelerate slightly; however, it should still allow to stick blend colorants and pour batter into a mold. For more working time, consider mixing colorants prior to adding the fragrance oil.

Good fragrance for a room spray for my client's business

My first room spray client needed not only my compounding expertise, but also needed a transitional fragrance just to "get something into the bottle" while I worked on capturing the essence of her beach vacation rental business in a bespoke fragrance just for her. I chose to trust Midwest Fragrances initially, bought small sizes of my curated selection of your fragrances, and we used only the ones that appealed to her nose in a blend of my creation which included this one. She loves the final blend, so I believe we can always use it (I am trusting you to always be there and not to madly reformulate/discontinue like big metropolitan companies do, Midwest!) as a back-pocket option when the bespoke fragrance runs short or runs into supply-chain issues. I am grateful to you for helping us with the transition, and both my business and my client's has benefited from specifying and trusting Midwest.
I will continue to muse until my dying day how landlocked midwestern American perfumers coughed up acceptable beach fragrances, of course. :-@)

Oceanside paradise

I love this scent, I made two batches of cold process soap so far. I hope to make two more tomorrow. I should have enough for 8 total. I also need to make my fruit loops soaps too. I will definitely purchase more, especially the fruit loop.
