This wax has never disappointed me. Always a smooth top and great HT/CT. I also feel the price per case is spot on and with free delivery, you can't beat that!
This wax is next level perfection. I pour colored and layered candles which present a multitude of issues with glass adherence, cracking, frosting with most waxes I’ve tried. This wax is more forgiving that most too. Perfect tops every time. Little to NO cracking. Look. At. Those. Tops! 😍😍
I've used 3 boxes of this wax & the 4th is on its way! This is the BEST quality wax I've used this far. I can pour and don't have any issues with the tops of my candles. I haven't used the heat gun except for the mistakes I make with my fingers. Lol! The ct & ht is good. Everything about this wax is perfect. 👌 I've had no fuss or issues with wax tops or sink holes. This truly is the perfect blend of wax. I like the blend of paraffin and soy. It's a good balance of both. It burns even and I will continue using it.
The candles I pour at both colored and layered so finding a wax that doesn't crack or pull away from the jars was no easy task. I had settled on IGI6006 until I gave this wax a shot after reading the reviews. I am still honestly shocked at how well it worked. Out of 50 candles I had ZERO cracking, ZERO that pulled away from the jar and such beautiful SMOOTH tops. So, so impressed. This will be the only wax I get from here on out. It is about $50 more a case than IGI so I knew it had to blow me away to make up that price difference, but because it is such an awesome product coupled with the super affordable shipping, it's a no brainer!
This wax is amazing, but it’s definitely not made for the Texas heat. Such a shame!

Great scent throw and candles always look smooth. Fast turn around and shipping. Excellent service.
Shipped on Monday, delivered Thursday during hot weather. Wax was still in good shape!
Staple in my line. Works like a charm.
This wax is super easy to work with. Great CT and HT! Makes beautiful candles
I’ve tried other waxes and came straight back to this. It was perfect the first time, I was just new to candle making and thought I needed to explore. Perfect pour, tops and ht/ct.
Melts well
Easy to use. Perfect mix.
Works great for my candles no sinkholes and easy to use
I was referred to Midwestfragrance when I was in a crisis from another wax company, and let me tell you the best purchase ever . Fast ship / great packaging I can’t be more thankful for you guys . My new candle supply company ❤️❤️
Absolutely love this wax
Holds fragrance really well. Smooth tops on the first pour. Burns cleanly with zero soot. No pitting, sink holes, or frosting. I've been using a Premier 735 wick in a 2.6 diameter mason jar with 10% fragrance and they work really well in this wax. This wax fixed all my issues I had with other waxes.
Love this wax!
Perfect pours every time!
This is now the 2nd time Ive received wax from this company and it was short over a 1lb. 18 Oz for this one, to be exact. Sadly, I do really love their wax, but financially this company makes zero sense.
Wow, where has this wax been all my life?! I was using BW-917 and picking it up from a Canadian store since we live right on the border. The importing of wax got complicated and I was struggling to figure out what to do. I came across Midwest and discovered this wax. It is absolutely the easiest wax to work with, my tops are smooth every pour, and best of all I don't spend hours having to heat gun the tops. Thank you, Midwest, for your amazing product, phenomenal customer service, super fast (AND FREE!) shipping, and for a great product. You gained a new customer for as long as I keep my small business going. Blessings to your staff!
Overall the wax is pretty decent for candle making. However, the packaging is horrible, slabs just in a garbage bag. Very hard to start using. Products is slimy does not cut well. Would be much better as flakes or shave, solid blocks are not a good fit for small set ups.
Love this wax! Fast shipping!
I am quite happy with this wax for my containers. It is a soft wax and does a single pour well. So far I've had no issues with CT/HT with any of my FOs. There's no frosting. It just seems like a good candle wax that is easy to work with.
Great product. Love it!
This really is the perfect wax!!! I don’t leave reviews often but when I do, it’s because it is worthy of a 5 star review! I used to use the Deluxe satin soy wax from Makesy and Soy Bliss #7 and this is exactly comparable to those if not better!! I warm up to 200 degrees and pour in my fragrance oil around 180-190 and stir for about 1-2 minutes and pour at 170-180 and the tops are sooooo smooth, I only have to hit with a heat gun sometimes to smooth the edges or after I clip the wick and there is some wax left on the wick. It burns incredibly well and even and has amazing hot throw and cold throw!!!

Using our fragrance oils is super simple, and we’re here to guide you! For candles, we recommend adding your fragrance to the melted wax when it’s at the correct temperature (usually around 185°F, but check your wax’s specs). Mix well, pour, and let the magic happen. For soap-making, our oils are perfect for melt-and-pour, cold process, or hot process soaps. Always follow recommended usage rates and do a small test batch to ensure everything works beautifully. The recommended fragrance load can vary depending on your project, but here’s a good starting point: for candles, we suggest 6–10% of your total wax weight, depending on your wax type and personal preference. For soaps, always checkIFRA usage rates to ensure your oils are skin-safe and used at the right level. When in doubt, start small and adjust until you find your perfect balance!
