About our MWFC Room Spray Fragrance Load Finder Tool

These Room Spray Testing Notes are exactly that - notes. They’re not meant to be a formula, recommendation, or scent performance guide. Instead, they’re here to give you a head start on your own testing process.

Each oil listing includes:

  • IFRA Category 10B limit
  • Max Stable Load (Before Separation) -  the highest percentage we tested before visible separation occurred (not a recommendation or indicator of scent throw). We tested up to 10% only (may be able to go higher but you'll need to test).
  • Discoloration observations - if the base noticeably changed color during testing

We tested each oil in our MWFC room spray base, but keep in mind your testing may show different results depending on your process, additives, and fragrance selection. We tested up to 10% only (may be able to go higher but you'll need to test).

This tool is here to save you a few steps - not skip them entirely.

We always recommend testing each fragrance in your own setup to confirm performance and stability.

Wondering what "discoloration" might look like?

Here's a quick visual reference based on what we observed during testing.

We’ll keep adding to these notes as we test more. In the meantime, we’d love to hear what you’re seeing in your studio.

Melissa

I have 4oz bottles to try room spray. I have Froot Loops fragrance to use, which is an IFRA of 3%. I do not know how much base or fragrance to use for this. Any suggestions I would appreciate it. I usually measure in ounces because my scale does not have decimal. So if you can help and what percentages to use, I would appreciate it. I know all fragrances are different.
