Beautiful and excellent quality

I am using these lids with my new upscale candle line and I know my customers are going to absolutely love them. They're extremely high quality and elegant.

Not a great fit

I love the jars, and the pine-wood lid aesthetic. However, with my order the lids seemed to fit less than “snuggly”. It would be easy for a customer to grab the candle from the top and the candle to drop as the lid does not fit correctly. Very loose. I was able to purchase lids from another supplier that fit more snug. Hoping for a revision to this, as I do enjoy purchasing from Midwest!

These do not fit the vessels, they sit on top and have movement on the sides when picked up.

Not the best

The looks of these lids are aesthetically pleasing however I feel like they effect the candle in a negative way. The lids because they are pine smell pretty strong and when curing I notice the pine soaks up a lot of the fragrance oil. The lid then smells good but I feel like(and this is my opinion) that it negatively effects the cold throw of the candle during curing and even after. I notice my candles with metal lids smell way stronger than my pine lids. As a business owner who wants to have the strongest most amazing smelling candles but want to continue having the 3 wick vessels I really hope there will be another lid option for the 3 wick vessels. The pine also is very raw and sometimes makes you feel like you might get a splinter. If it was even slightly coated I think that would improve the look and feel of the lid. With all that being said the lids do fit perfectly on the vessels and easy to remove and that is a great thing for customers wanting to smell your products in store.

Using our fragrance oils is super simple, and we’re here to guide you! For candles, we recommend adding your fragrance to the melted wax when it’s at the correct temperature (usually around 185°F, but check your wax’s specs). Mix well, pour, and let the magic happen. For soap-making, our oils are perfect for melt-and-pour, cold process, or hot process soaps. Always follow recommended usage rates and do a small test batch to ensure everything works beautifully. The recommended fragrance load can vary depending on your project, but here’s a good starting point: for candles, we suggest 6–10% of your total wax weight, depending on your wax type and personal preference. For soaps, always checkIFRA usage rates to ensure your oils are skin-safe and used at the right level. When in doubt, start small and adjust until you find your perfect balance!
