Testing Your Fragrance Load
We strongly encourage you to conduct your own personal testing for each fragrance formulation. While these guidelines provide a great starting point, every fragrance behaves differently depending on its composition. Factors like solubility and performance can vary, so it's essential to test and adjust as needed to achieve the best results for your specific formulation.
Product | Recommended Fragrance Load | IFRA Compliance Category |
---|---|---|
Room Spray Base | 2-5% (greater than 5% possible but may cause cloudiness) | Category 10B |
Reed Diffuser Base | 20% | Category 10A |
Body Mist Base | 2-5% (more can be added, ensure test) | Category 2 (or Category 4 for non-axillae use) |
Foaming Hand Soap Base | 0.5-1% (up to 2%) | Category 9 |
