What is Golden Wax 444 used for?

Golden Wax 444 is a popular soy wax choice for making container candles. It’s known for its excellent scent throw, smooth tops, and the ability to hold a higher fragrance load. Plus, it has a higher melting point than Golden Wax 464 soy wax, making it great for candles in warmer climates.

- 100% Soy Wax Blend

- Comes in flake form - easy to scoop and melt

- Suggested fragrance load is 7-10%. If you're looking to add more than 10%, perform your own testing per fragrance.

- Recommended cure time: 10-14 days

- Great hot and cold throw

- Moderate color retention

- Pre-blended; no additives required

- Slow, even burn with great jar adhesion (under optimal conditions)

- Clean burning and non-toxic

- California Prop 65 compliant

- Melting point: 120-126℉

Instructions for use

- Heat wax up to 180-190℉ (Do not exceed 200℉)

- Remove from heat source and add fragrance oil and/or candle dye, if desired.

- Stir for 60 seconds and allow to cool. Slowly pour into container around 130-135℉. Ambient conditions may affect optimal pouring temperature. Personal experimentation is highly recommended.

I didn’t like it!

I read reviews about this wax and did some research. Almost everywhere I read said it was great for beginners. For me it was not. I followed directions to a T. My cold throw was good but the hot throw just wasn’t there. I won’t be purchasing again. I bought a 5lb bag. I’ll just use the rest to make tea lights for personal use.

I would not recommend this for beginners.
