A clean, musky blend of basil leaf, bergamot, and woody spice reminiscent of a classic, dapper old-time barbershop.

Top notes: Bergamot, Woodsy Spice

Middle notes: Fresh Basil Leaf, Amber

Base notes: Oakmoss, White Patchouli, Powdered Musk

Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at 5% FO load, 4/30/22 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Acceleration: None-Slight

Ricing: Very Slight

Discoloration: None

Trace: Normal

Design Notes: Slight ricing may occur upon adding in the fragrance, but was easily stick blended out. This requirement leaves the batter at a medium trace, but no further acceleration was noted, leaving enough time for some design work such as drop swirls or hanger swirls.

Scent Retention: Strong

I didn't order enough

As a new candle maker I've had so many requests for a "man scent." This is the first one I tried, I think it smells incredible, it is a fan favorite with my customers.

Riced and accelerated

I soap very cool and this is the first fo with mfc that riced and accelerated on me. Had to work fast. Scent seems very light at 5%. Will see how it smells after cure.
