Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at MAX (4.12%) FO load, 12/29/21 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil. 

Acceleration: Slight

Ricing: None

Discoloration: Light Yellow

Trace: Normal

Design Notes: Recommend mixing colorants prior to adding the fragrance oil. Some acceleration was noted so plan designs accordingly as it sets up quite fast in the mold. Great for layers and textures.
