Scent Description

MWFC ORIGINAL FRAGRANCE

Inspired by the Grand Canyon, this fragrance allows you to touch the sky with this rich and complex accord that captures the expansive beauty of the desert! It starts with fresh Sicilian mandarin and rosemary then adds in luxurious saffron and coconut for warmth. Tonka bean, agarwood, and musk add a final grounding, earthy finish.

Top notes: Sicilian Mandarin, Rosemary

Middle notes: Saffron, Orris, Coconut

Base notes: Tonka Bean, Agarwood, Musk

Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at 5% FO load, 12/21/24 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Trace: Normal

Design Notes: No acceleration, batter stays very fluid and allows for intricate designs.

Gorgeous clean scent

If you struggle to find a scent both men and women will enjoy, look no further! Desert Sky is not overly masculine and holds scent beautifully in soap.

Good masculine scent

I use this in my men's collection and I love this light toned scent. It's not too much and it's not too light.

Smells Amazing and Soaped Well

This fragrance oil not only smells amazing, it also was so very easy to soap with. I soaped at 90 degrees and did an ombre design. I split my batter at emulsion and had stirred in my micas to each of 5 portions and then hand stirred in the fragrance as I poured the layers. I actually had to wait for some of the layers to thicken up enough to pour.
