Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at 5% FO load, 12/21/24 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Discoloration: Light Orange

Trace: Slows down trace

Design Notes: No acceleration, batter stays very fluid and allows for intricate designs. This fragrance might increase soda ash depending on water to lye ratio. Recommend testing various water discounts.

I opened this and was instantly transported back to my first walk on the beach at night. I think the fragrance is beautiful yet masculine and is a perfect addition to our line

Wet Stones?

Mw what where you thinking? I'm not gonna give this scent a bad review because I don't like it. But, the other reviewer said stone. I agree. But I'm going to add dirt to that. I think it smells like dirt, grass & wet stones! Would this scent stop me from buying the bundle? Absolutely not! This one is a hard pass for me. If you like earthy scents. Give this one a try. I love earthy, tree scents. 🌳 so I was surprised this one just didn't work for me.
