Cold Process Soap Testing Notes

Tested at MAX (1.90%) FO load, 12/27/21 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Design Notes: Soaps really well. Stays fluid long enough to allow for swirl designs.

This scent is in my rotation, and one FO I use in a scent I call Sunshine of 3 MWF Fo's. It behaves perfectly in cold process soap.

I love this scent. Made this for onr of my customer. Will definitely be ordering this fragrance oil again..

The real deal

Fresh cut grass is a top seller in my soy wax lineup. People can not get over how much it smells like Freshly Mowed Grass. Just like passing your neighbors lawn right after it was Mowed on a hot day... without the runny nose and allergies commonly associated with that time of year. Highly recommend!

Where’s the grass?

Unfortunately I was pretty disappointed in this! I’ve had some requests for a fresh cut grass scent so I have this a try but it smells nothing like grass. It’s very sweet and everyone I had blindly smell it said it smelled like candy, nobody was able to detect any green notes at all. Idk if I got the wrong fragrance poured into the bottle or what but it’s nothing like grass

Pretty close to the real thing

I haven’t used this yet, I’m waiting for spring, but it smells great OOB. I plan on mixing it for a great spring time scent.
