Important Notice Regarding Fragrance Oil Discontinuations
Hey there, friends! Today’s blog is a bittersweet one, and I’ll admit it has me feeling a bit sentimental. We’ve got some big news to share, and I wanted to let you all hear it directly from me because we value honesty and total transparency.
Here’s the scoop: We’re discontinuing 19 of our fragrance oils.
Why Are We Retiring These Fragrances?
At Midwest Fragrance Company, our ultimate goal is to help you create beautiful, high-quality products that your customers will absolutely love. And as much as it pains us to part ways with some of these scents, the truth is, they just don’t pull their weight. Many of these fragrances have not been popular sellers, and keeping them around takes up valuable space that we could use to bring in fresh, exciting fragrances for 2025 (yes, I’m already excited about what’s coming—stay tuned!).
Another reason? Some of these oils contain phthalates, and more and more of you have told us that you prefer phthalate-free options. Trust me, we hear you loud and clear! This retirement allows us to align with yours and our values and keep our product line fresh, clean, and exactly what you’re looking for.
Transparency Matters: Why We’re Announcing This Now
One thing you should know about us by now — we don’t do surprises (unless it’s the kind that comes with cake). We believe in being upfront with all of you because trust is imperative in any partnership. That’s why we’re letting you know about these retirements before our big Black Friday sale kicks off.
Here’s what this means for you:
- We are NOT discontinuing these fragrances effective immediately; they will be available while supplies last.
- All 19 retiring fragrances will be discounted 25% off while supplies last.
- Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good. We won’t be restocking these scents, so if you’ve got favorites on the list, now’s your chance to stock up.
We want to make this transition as smooth as possible, and giving you plenty of time to grab what you need (and save a little cash) feels like the right way to do it.

We’re talking fresh, original scents that align with current trends, plus more phthalate-free options to give you the quality you deserve.
This is an exciting time for Midwest Fragrance Company, and I want you to know that we’re committed to evolving in ways that make your life easier, your products better, and your business thrive. Change can be tough, but it’s also a chance to grow—and we’re growing right along with you.
