Q: Why is my room spray cloudy?
A: Cloudiness usually means the fragrance load is too high for that specific fragrance oil. Try lowering the percentage until the mixture turns clear, which is an indication of full solubility.
Q: Why is my spray yellowing over time?
A: Some fragrance materials naturally oxidize, which can cause discoloration or yellowing over time. This doesn’t mean the product has gone bad—it's just a reaction to exposure to light, air, or heat. We recommend storing finished sprays in opaque or UV-safe packaging to help reduce this effect.
Q: The base smells on its own—is that normal?
A: Yes! Some of the ingredients used to create the base have their own odor characteristics which can have a light scent before fragrance is added. Once your fragrance oil is mixed in, it typically blends and fades out—but you can always let it sit for 24 hours to fully bind before use.
Q: Can I use essential oils instead of fragrance oils? A: Yes, but use caution! Essential oils are more concentrated, so we recommend starting at a lower usage rate and testing for solubility, scent strength, and stability before scaling up.
Q: Why are my floors slippery after spraying this room spray?
