Candle Testing Notes
Tested at 8% FO load, in Golden Wax 464. Test burned in a 60 sq ft space with a 8 oz candle for 3 hours. We recommend starting for candle testing at around 8% FO load and adjusting from here however, please look at your specific wax to see their recommendations and test.
Cold Throw Notes: Strong
Hot Throw Notes: Strong

Cold Process Soap Testing Notes
Tested at 5% FO load with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.
Acceleration: Slight | Ricing: None | Discoloration: Dark brown | Trace: Normal | Scent Retention: Pending
Design Notes: Recommend mixing the colorants before adding the fragrance oil. Slight acceleration, but very workable. Great for texturing tops and layered designs. Sets very fast once in the mold. Titanium dioxide may help offset some discoloration; however, it can speed up the trace.

This scent is AMAZING! I love it so much and my soaps smell wonderful.
Being from St. Louis, I've been looking for a Gooey Butter Cake scent for awhile. When I finally found it, I got so excited! A lot of reviews say they don't smell the apple note or it needs more apple. I bought it because of those reviews alone! I don't smell apple either but that's what I wanted, no apple lol. Works well in coconut beeswax.
Smells so yummy I wanted to eat it😂 love this scent!
Smells amazing
So so good!!! They knocked it out of the park with this one . First time trying it and it’s easily one if my top 10 for all time ( 26 years)
Not a great smell
At first I wasn't getting any hints of apple butter, just a cakey smell and something I couldn't quite put a finger on. I kept going back to smell it and now I want to purchase a big quantity of it. The yummy buttery small hint of apple scent came thru and I fell in love. And everyone wants that particular scent lol.
This one smells good! It’s not overly sweet but hits all the right notes. Definitely a great fall scent.
This is an awesome scent!
Smells delicious, I just wish it had slightly more apple smell in it. It worked well in CP soap. It will turn brown.
The Best smell! It’s even better than I imagined! Love it!
Smells great.
Definetly smell the butter
i love it!
A good one if you love the sweets!
Amazing!!
I don't smell any apple in this
Mixed with pumpkin for a buttered pumpkin bread fragrance - great butter note.
The oil is very sweet OOTB, but when it hits the wax, it has the most delectable salted butter smell with just the right amount of apple. Exceeded my expectations for sure. Nicely done!
Loved this scent! It smells so delicious
This smells amazing, made wax melts and the throw is awesome . Will buy again
Great
This fragrance is sooo good , great CT & HT in my wax blend !

Using our fragrance oils is super simple, and we’re here to guide you! For candles, we recommend adding your fragrance to the melted wax when it’s at the correct temperature (usually around 185°F, but check your wax’s specs). Mix well, pour, and let the magic happen. For soap-making, our oils are perfect for melt-and-pour, cold process, or hot process soaps. Always follow recommended usage rates and do a small test batch to ensure everything works beautifully. The recommended fragrance load can vary depending on your project, but here’s a good starting point: for candles, we suggest 6–10% of your total wax weight, depending on your wax type and personal preference. For soaps, always checkIFRA usage rates to ensure your oils are skin-safe and used at the right level. When in doubt, start small and adjust until you find your perfect balance!
