Tested at 8% FO load, in Golden Wax 464. Test burned in a 60 sq ft space with an 8 oz candle for 3 hours. We recommend starting for candle testing at around 8% FO load and adjusting from here however, please look at your specific wax to see their recommendations and test.

Tested at 5% FO load, 5/18/25 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Smells like chemicals and plastic. I thought it was me until I had a couple other people smell the fragrance ...and without telling them what I thought of it, they said the same thing. It smelled like strong chemicals and plastic. I contacted the company, they didn't seem to care. The person who emailed me back, Bonnie, said that they had not gotten any complaints. However, when I looked back on reviews , I see a few people complaining of the same thing. Unfortunately I bought the 16 oz thinking it would be fantastic but it's terrible and I'm out the money.
I hae to give this a three star. Its not bad , i think it can be repaired with pairing it with another oil. I get a slight medicine smell which i dont like. But you can smell the marshmallow and cocoa first then the medicine at the end. It does ruin thr experience a bit. It reminds me of a scent called sweet milk i got which also had a medicine smell. I hope i csn repair it with another oil cuz i dont think i can return it .
This is a perfect seasonal scent for my shop. Smooth and not over powering - a wonderful addition to my shop.
Gotta be honest smelled like plastic wish i could say different even added the peppermint still smelled like a plastic peppermint, i wanted to love this..ugh
Smelled delicious
You probably think it’s just another chocolate as there are so many, but this one just hits different. It truely reminds of “hot” chocolate and I’m not really even sure why. It might be the finishing note that goes from chocolate to a delicious powdery marshmallow scent, but not in a bad way. It’s pleasant.
The HT is a 6.5-7 out of 10. It’s decent but not the most over powering. I liked it enough to buy a larger bottle and created a really nice blend with it for the holidays.

This scent is exactly what I was hoping to find!
I had high hopes for this one. Right out of the bottle, I caught a hint of that classic packet of Swiss Miss marshmallow hot cocoa powder, but it faded almost immediately. Unfortunately, the scent is extremely light and barely came through on a blotting strip. I was also picking up a slight chemical smell that took away from the cozy chocolate vibe I was looking for. I wish the chocolate note was stronger, richer, and more authentic. This one missed the mark for me, but I can see potential with some reformulation.
Such a spot on hot cocoa scent! You smell the creamy chocolate and the sweet marshmallow! I can’t wait to put it in my winter line up!

Smell like cheap hot chocolate. I wish it was more authentic and rich. Its so hard to find a good hot cocoa that doesnt cost a ton.
This immediately makes me think of my childhood friend’s mom. She made the best hot chocolate. She warmed the milk on the stove and added marshmallows. You get all those notes with the hot cocoa packet chocolate. Definitely makes me nostalgic for sledding and snowball fights.
