Lilac - Fragrance Oil

When I was growing my mom always tried to make sure she had lilacs growing where ever we lived. The smell reminds me of her. This fragrance is spot on and takes me back to playing around the lilac bushes.

First of all, i don't make candles or soap, so can't speak to how it behaves when mixed with other ingredients, but needed the lilac fragrance for another purpose. Fresh lilacs were out of season, so i gave this a try.

Midwest was very quick to ship my order, and it arrived quickly and well-packaged.

I just put a few drops, here and there, to scent a room, and it gives a light, airy fragrance. There is plenty of it, in a bottle, to last me quite a while, for the way that i use it.

I am very pleased with my purchase!

This FO is the real deal. Lilacs with a hint of greenery. Used in cold process soap. Is curing up just great!!

ive tried alot of different brands and this one is the best it smells like real lilac!

I tried to like it, but it's just not for me. It's lilac, but more like cheap perfume. I tried to blend it to tone it down, but didn't work. I actually prefer Midnight Moonflower for a lilac-type scent.

More perfume smelling I’m going to add vanilla

Scent can be a very personal thing. I believe this smells just like shoving my face in purple lilacs back at home. My boss thinks it smells just like lilacs too! My boyfriend says it smells like the urinal cakes 🤣🤣 to each their own, but my customers are loving this! And the throw in candles is AMAZING!

I love most fragrances from Midwest but this one is a miss. Smells like chemicals.

I wanted to like this scent, as I love the smell of lilac. I used it in cp soap. However, it has a very synthetic/ plastic-like scent and it lacked the fresh "green" spring smell - just a lot of floral. I haven't put it out for sale yet, so maybe my customers will prove me wrong but this is one scent I don't think I'll purchase again.

I always LOVE all my MWFC oils so when I needed a Lilac scent I figured it would be no different so instead of first ordering a sample I just went ahead and ordered a large bottle.
In the bottle it was very strong and perfume-like. I know that can be deceiving so went ahead and made wax melts. No difference. It wouldn’t be so bad if it was a genuine lilac scent but I struggle to even make out lilac. No hate at all, just honest feedback.

Sells out every single time I make a batch! Tried and true scent, I have made Cold Process and Salt Bars and it’s flies off the shelf every time, truth be told, I hate the smell of lilac and would not make it but for the fact it’s a fan favorite and sells so fast I don’t have to handle it very long. Buy the big bottle, the ladies love it!

This did not quite smell like lilacs to me. It smells something like a watered down version of lilac. I love lilacs but I was not a fan of this scent.

Oob this smells like strong lilac with the tiniest hint of artificial I'm not sure how anyone can't smell it. It seems strong and smells beautiful works well in diffusers plan to use with 6006

Everything from MWF has been amazing and I feel bad writing a bad review but the bottle I got smelled absolutely horrible - I went ahead and made my candles hoping it would change but I cannot smell lilac at all it reminds me of the little white things you would clip in your toilet - I had several people smell it and they didn’t smell lilac at all - I don’t even think I can mix won’t any thing - I actually threw out what I made because I really couldn’t smell the smell anymore! Everything else I have ordered has been awesome!

This was first time ordering this fragrance from here and it is terrible. It smells nothing like lilac and doesn’t even have an appealing smell. I will have to mix with something else to try and mask the scent.

This FO smelled exactly like lilacs. To me though, it was too strong of a scent.
