Candle Testing Notes
Tested at 8% FO load, in Golden Wax 464. Test burned in a 60 sq ft space with an 8 oz candle for 3 hours. We recommend starting for candle testing at around 8% FO load and adjusting from here however, please look at your specific wax to see their recommendations and test.

Tested at 5% FO load, 5/18/25 with a recipe containing 30% lye concentration (water:lye ratio 2.300:1) with 5% superfat at 90 degrees. Recipe is 33% organic and sustainable palm oil, 33% coconut oil, 16% Canola oil, 14.9% olive oil, 3% castor oil, and 0.01% vitamin E oil.

Let me start by saying OH MY!!!! I didn't expect this fragrance to be so smooth, it's not overpowering. I ordered this just to try it and ordered a big ounce by mistake but I'm glad I did. This is a great tried and true masculine scent. I'm a sucker for all things rosewood so I knew I would love it straight away. I enjoyed how it developed scent over time. There was a wonderful lingering hint two days after burn of the tonka bean. I'm thinking I may add a little vanilla in there to warm it up a bit for holiday time.
Very strong so I recommend a lower percentage so it's not too over-powering. My first throw at 10% was a bit much so lowered it to 8%.

Amazing fragrance! That Yuzu top note is chef kiss! I made a solid cologne out of this fragrance and I cant stop smelling myself!
