I like this scent

As a whole, the fragrance is solid. The petrichor note is the star of the show, and the surrounding notes go well without overpowering it. If you like earthy, atmospheric, nature-inspired scents, Pacific Northwest is absolutely worth trying.

Beautiful & Strong. A new Favorite!

I'm working my way through putting 150+ Midwest samples in wax melts before testing in candles to get a truer sense of the fragrance, its strength, and its throw. I tested in C55 Caluxe, GW 494, and CocoSol (CandleScience) at 10% fragrance. C55 was the best, hands down, for strength and cold/hot throw. The fragrance itself was perfection. It was strong (!) and the description is accurate. You can really smell the petrichor notes, balanced with mossy, green, woodsy notes. This FO would make a great blender but is really gorgeous on its own. Highly recommend!

Holy Cow, this is a wonderful scent!

Cool, Mossy, Wet, and Fragrant... this fragrance is absolutely wonderful in CP soap for both scent and behavior. Will buy again!

Wonderful

I live in Oregon and I'm always looking for that beautiful rainy forest scent and this one is amazing. It will be a apart of my candle line based on my home state.

Who knew ..

Out of the bottle, my first sniff had me questioning this scent. I made a tester, cured and burned just yesterday. OMG. My new favorite scent! It's amazing! If you are on the fence try it!! You won't be disappointed.

I personally smell more of a Melon Note in this, so its a great nature inspired, fresh scent! Love!

Smells spot on

This smells exactly like you would have just scooped up a handful of mossy, muddy, dirt out of the forest. It's so perfect!

The Redwoods in. bottle !

This was the first oil I poured into wax when the new collection launched ! poured at 10% in 464 in my standard tester jar- 9oz straight sided using a cd12wick ,the cold throw was already 10/10 but what a hot throw ! Carried through our bedroom down the hallway into the living room ! we burned it to the very end we loved it so much - just like being up in the California redwoods and truly a great experience of the PCNW !! well done !

Smells like Oregon!

I have not been to the Pacific coast but my son lived in Oregon. I made him smell this fragrance and he said it smelled like he was walking through the deep forest. I love this fragrance for its deep earthy tones!

Strong Throw

I'm melting 2 cubes (1 oz) in a tealight wax melter in our family room and the scent throw is coming down the hall and into other rooms. I used MB150 at 10%. My husband, who never comments, said that he really likes this scent. It's woodsy, rainy, fresh air, petrichor like. If you love nature / earthy / ocean type scents, make sure to grab Pacific Northwest, it's very refreshing!

We’re so glad you asked! At MWFC, our fragrance oils are crafted with makers like you in mind. Every scent undergoes testing to ensure exceptional hot and cold throw for candles, and we also perform soap testing, providing detailed notes for each fragrance. We’re all about quality, consistency, and making sure our fragrances elevate your projects—and we think you’ll feel (and smell) the difference!

We know how important it is to get your supplies fast! Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days, but the top of our website always has the most up-to-date information. Using our fragrance oils is super simple, and we’re here to guide you! For candles, we recommend adding your fragrance to the melted wax when it’s at the correct temperature (usually around 185°F, but check your wax’s specs). Mix well, pour, and let the magic happen. For soap-making, our oils are perfect for melt-and-pour, cold process, or hot process soaps. Always follow recommended usage rates and do a small test batch to ensure everything works beautifully. Need more tips? Check out our resources—we love helping makers like you!

The recommended fragrance load can vary depending on your project, but here’s a good starting point: for candles, we suggest 6–10% of your total wax weight, depending on your wax type and personal preference. For soaps, always checkIFRA usage rates to ensure your oils are skin-safe and used at the right level. When in doubt, start small and adjust until you find your perfect balance!
