- Why the update?
- As we've continued to grow our fragrance collection, we've worked to create names that better capture the character and feeling of each scent. While Bergamot + Sandalwood accurately described two of the fragrance notes, we felt the name didn't fully reflect the warm, refined personality of the fragrance.
- Santal + Suede better represents the smooth sandalwood, soft woods, and sophisticated finish that customers experience, while still being the exact same fragrance you've always loved.
Scent Description
Santal + Suede blends bright bergamot with soft violet flowers before settling into warm sandalwood. Grounded by earthy patchouli and fresh pine, it has a smooth, modern character with just the right balance of freshness and depth. It's a refined, masculine-inspired fragrance that works beautifully year-round.

Tested at 8% FO load, in Golden Wax 464. Test burned in a 60 sq ft space with a 8 oz candle for 3 hours. We recommend starting for candle testing at around 8% FO load and adjusting from here however, please look at your specific wax to see their recommendations and test.

Smells amazing
I bought several different scents and made candles for gifts. It took some people over 1 hour to decide which candle they liked best. Everyone said they all smelled wonderful and couldn't decide which one they wanted. I couldn't be happier with the wonderful scents.
Wonderful scent. Quick shipping too… We ordered some scents from another place almost 2 weeks before we ordered from Midwest Fragrance and these got here before the other place. We will be buying our supplies from here.
I agree with many other reviewers. Out of the bottle, this fragrance on its own doesn't do it for me. However, my customer absolutely loved it on its own so there is a market for it! For this client, I added 30% of another fragrance oil from a different company and it smells absolutely amazing! I love it! It's a keeper blended.

I have a ton of customers who love both of these scents so I bought it to try in my wax melts. OOB its very Sandalwood forward for me. I can barely smell the Bergamot 😫. I saw where others have blended this with another FO to get what they want. I added another Bergamot FO I have and it gave it that kick it needed. All in all I LOVE MWFC and their oils. This is the first one I've had to blend to get what I wanted. I would purchase again and add more Bergamot to this to get what I'm looking for.

I’m on the fence about this scent. Out of the bottle I don’t like it at all. It’s extremely and slightly hurts my eyes. I kind of wish I could have gotten a once ounce bottle for this scent instead of two :/

I was disappointed in this fragrance and had put it away to be used as a FO just for testing. I combined it with another scent from another supply company and WOW! I now have a new fragrance to add to my growing candle scents! It's better mixed.
