All-Purpose Cleaner + Mop Soap Calculator

Figuring out the right ratios for your all-purpose cleaner or mop soap can feel like a lot of math. That's why we created this calculator — so you can get accurate measurements in seconds, from small test batches to full production runs.

How It Works:

1️⃣ Select what you're making — all-purpose cleaner or mop soap
2️⃣ Choose your unit of measurement (ounces or grams)
3️⃣ Select how you'd like to calculate — by total batch size or by number of bottles you want to fill
4️⃣ For all-purpose cleaner, enter your concentrate percentage (we recommend 5%, but you can test 3–5%)
5️⃣ Enter your fragrance load percentage (we recommend 1–2%, max 4%)
6️⃣ Hit "Calculate" and get your full recipe — including step-by-step mixing instructions!

You can also print your recipe to keep at your workstation while you pour.

No more guesswork — just accurate measurements and a ready-to-follow recipe for every batch.

Testing Your Formulation

We strongly encourage you to conduct your own personal testing for each fragrance formulation. While these ratios provide a great starting point, every fragrance behaves differently depending on its composition. If you're using a higher fragrance load (3%+), you may need to add Polysorbate 20 to help the fragrance fully incorporate. Always test and adjust as needed to achieve the best results for your specific formulation.

A note on mop soap:
Mop soap is formulated as a concentrate — your customers will dilute it before use. The calculator accounts for this and provides a concentrate-ready recipe.
