In this tutorial, we cover the supplies you’ll need to get started, calculation breakdowns, and the full making process step-by-step. We’ve also included a video tutorial for visual learners so you can follow along with the process more easily!

How To Successfully Sell Your Home Cleaning Products
Us makers know...creating the product is only part of the process. Learning how to market it successfully is what will turn your new product into a best seller.
In this guide, we focus on how to position cleaning products in your marketing, what strategies work best, and how to have a successful launch.
We go into a lot of detail in the guide, but the important thing to remember is to lean away from marketing the product itself, and lean into marketing it as an experience.
Even if you are experienced in marketing, definitely check out this guide- you may get some ideas you didn't think about before! Who knows what inspiration you might find?

APC/Mop Soap Base Calculator Tool
To make creating with this base a breeze, we’ve developed a custom calculator specifically for the MWFC APC + Mop Soap Base!
This calculator will allow makers to input their total batch size, fragrance percentage, concentrate percentage (and optional Polysorbate 20 amounts) and it will automatically calculate the exact measurements needed for the formula.
We want this base to be easy for makers to add new products to their line, and sometimes the formula math can make creating new products more stressful than it needs to be.
The goal of this tool is to simplify testing, improve consistency, reduce math errors, and make scaling production much easier. Whether you’re creating small sample batches or larger production runs, this calculator is designed to help streamline the process and make formulation more approachable for makers at every level.

Final Notes
Home cleaning products can feel intimidating at first, especially if you’ve never worked with them before...but they’re honestly much simpler than many makers expect once you understand the basics.
The reason this category is growing so quickly is because customers are actively looking for products that combine function, fragrance, aesthetics, and experience.
That creates a huge opportunity for makers.
With our base, you can create cleaning products that customers use constantly, repurchase regularly, and naturally incorporate into their everyday routines. And because these products fit so seamlessly into existing home fragrance brands, they can become one of the easiest and most approachable ways to expand your business into an entirely new category.
As always, we can’t wait to see what you create with this new base! Share your creations in our community group on Facebook or tag us on Instagram- we would LOVE to see what you make!
