Candles
This is where our own personal journey started and is still one of our favorite ways to use fragrance oils!
Our fragrances are formulated to perform beautifully in soy, coconut, paraffin, and blended waxes. Every wax and wick combination behaves a little differently, so testing is key to finding your perfect formula.
Maker Tip:
Sometimes less fragrance is more when it comes to candles. Start with a lower fragrance load (based on your wax guidelines) and scale up as needed.
Our favorite maker-approved waxes:
- Golden Wax 464 (soy candle wax- a classic choice for a reason! It performs like a charm!)
- Maker’s Blend 100 (parasoy candle wax- quickly turning into a fan favorite, especially among those just starting out with candlemaking!)

Wax Melts
Just like candles, our fragrances are formulated to perform beautifully in wax melts!
They deliver rich, true-to-scent fragrance to help you create confidently.
Our favorite maker-approved waxes:
- Golden Wax 494 (soy wax melt wax- for fans of 464, you will love this wax!)
- Maker’s Blend 150 (parasoy wax melt wax- just like Maker's Blend 100, it is basically foolproof with amazing results almost every time!)

Soaps
Many MWFC fragrance oils are approved for use in many different soap applications, such as:
- Cold process soap
- Hot process soap
- Foaming hand soap
- Melt & Pour soap
- Shampoo & Conditioner
- Castile soap
- Laundry soap
Each fragrance listing includes an IFRA Certificate showing where it can safely be used and at what percentage.
Maker Tip:
Always test your finished formula for performance, stability + scent strength before selling.
Small batch testing is your best friend here!
And for our cold process soap-makers, we have soaping notes available for you in each fragrance listing!
Please note that every recipe is different, so results may vary- but these are a general guideline to follow!

Final Notes
Once you find a fragrance that fits your brand, you can use it to create multiple different products across your brand as part of your signature scent collection.
For example, with your core fragrance line, you can carry many different products with the same fragrance: candles, wax melts, reed diffusers, car diffusers, room sprays, etc. For body care focused makers, you can expand your line to include soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, scrubs, and body sprays. (Just remember to always check IFRA first!)
And keep in mind- just because you start with body care products or home goods doesn't mean you can't branch out! You aren't confined to one line of products. Candlemakers can make body products and soapers can make home fragrance, too- this is your business and you are allowed to make whatever you want!
Maker Tip:
Keep notes on what works, always! Your best “happy accidents” often become your next bestsellers!
MWFC fragrance oils are designed for versatility, performance, and creative freedom.
Whether you’re crafting candles, soaps, sprays, or something totally new- our fragrances are here to help you create confidently and safely.
Because at the end of the day, creating should feel exciting. Not overwhelming. 💛
